Let's Lindy - The book

Let’s Lindy -  The guide for everyone who wants to learn Lindy Hop, Jitterbug and Jive, the third edition, as relevant today as when it was first published in 1993.

The first authoritative history and teaching manual aimed at those with little or no experience (but who have always secretly wanted to dance) right through to experienced dancers interested in furthering their knowledge. Let’s Lindy is carefully explained, easy-to-follow and well-illustrated, teaching you 18 moves and will enable a complete novice to step comfortably onto the dance floor. Includes moves such as American Spin, Wrap, Spanish Arms, Shoulder Slide, Texas Tommy, Lindy Turn, Straddle Jump with Pecking and more. It will have you spinning, wrapping, pecking and swinging out in no time!

The book starts with an insightful overview of where the dance came from, its history and its spirit, and finishes with a suggestion of music and other resources together with ideas on how to organise one’s own event.
